2. Hosting and server logs
This website is delivered using Cloudflare services. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, California 94107, USA. Cloudflare technically deploys the website from the connected source-code repository and protects the infrastructure used to deliver it.
When the website is accessed, the IP address, date and time, requested page or file, referrer information, browser and operating-system information and the HTTP status code may in particular be processed. This processing serves to provide the website securely, reliably and efficiently and to prevent misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of our website.
Where Cloudflare processes data outside the European Economic Area, this is based on the applicable data protection safeguards, in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Log data is retained only for as long as necessary for operation, security and misuse prevention. The retention period depends on the respective processing purpose and the Cloudflare services used.
3. Cookies and local storage
We store the choice concerning optional analytics in the browser's Local Storage under the keyyamarti_analytics_consent. This storage is necessary so that the choice can be respected on later page views. It remains until it is changed through Cookie settings or deleted in the browser. No Google Analytics cookies are set without consent.
4. Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, an analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics helps us understand how the website is used. The data processed may include pages viewed, the time and duration of a visit, the referring page, approximate geographic region, device and browser information, interactions and online identifiers. The IP address is also technically processed during transmission.
The Google tag with measurement ID G-XSHGX8VMYZ is loaded only after analytics has been explicitly allowed. No connection to Google Analytics is established beforehand. Advertising features, Google Signals and personalised advertising are disabled in our implementation.
After consent, Google Analytics may in particular set the cookies _ga and_ga_<container-id>. They are used to distinguish browsers pseudonymously and have a default lifetime of up to two years. User-level and event-level data stored in the Analytics account is deleted after 14 months.
The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where information is stored on or accessed from your device, section 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future through Cookie settings in the footer. When consent is withdrawn, we attempt to remove the Google Analytics cookies set by this website.
Data may also be processed by Google LLC and other Google companies in the United States. According to Google, international transfers are based on applicable adequacy decisions, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and where required on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information is available inGoogle's privacy policy.
We do not use Google Analytics for automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
5. Contact and Google Workspace
If you contact us by email, we process the information you provide to handle and respond to your enquiry. If the enquiry concerns steps prior to entering into a contract or the performance of a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For other enquiries, processing is based on our legitimate interest in appropriate business communication under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use Google Workspace for email communication. Google processes sender and recipient details, message content, attachments and technical metadata on our behalf. We have entered into data-processing arrangements with Google. Where processing takes place outside the European Economic Area, Google relies in particular on applicable adequacy decisions and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
General enquiries that do not result in a business relationship are normally deleted once they have been dealt with and are no longer needed for possible follow-up questions, generally no later than twelve months afterwards. The period generally begins at the end of the calendar year in which the respective record was created or the communication was concluded. The legal basis for statutory retention is Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
